OK, seriously, how about our pal Tom Tango? The other day, I put up a Subscriber Bonus: Ask About a Stat! post and asked you to pose any question you have about advanced baseball stats. And then, Tom Tango personally went through the questions and … answered EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM.

I mean, seriously, what a guy.

And then after he did that, he sent me a list of larger and more general topics to talk about for everybody. So let’s get to it.

Topic 1: Baseball Savant

At some point, we might try a little crash course on how to navigate Baseball Savant because it can be a little confusing … but there’s just so much fun information there, and so many magnificent things you can do, that it’s really worth exploring when you have some free time or when you’re supposed to be doing some other work but just don’t feel like it or, really, anything at all.

For example, I just went into the search engine to look at the 2022 home runs that were projected to go 475 feet or more. There were six of them hit. Can you name the only player who hit multiple home runs last season that went 475 feet?
