Patreon Troubles

So, I spent all day today trying -- without a great deal of success -- to get the Patreon stuff to work. From what I can tell, the problem is the integration between Patreon and WordPress -- this blog is on WordPress. I seemed to make a few strides at different times during the day. But in the end, it seems like lots of people are still having lots of problems.

So here's what I'm going to do for the time being -- well, first I'm going to keep trying to work with Patreon to get everything squared away. I'm told they're working on it. I will keep posting everything here for those who are having no issues.

But for JoeBlog members who are struggling to get through, I also will post everything over at my Patreon site. The easiest way to see them is to simply click on the site and click on "posts" right under the photo.

I do realize that this is not ideal for various reasons, but there are two advantages:

  1. When I post on Patreon, you should -- if you have alerts turned on -- get a nice email which not only alerts you and gives you a link to the post but actually INCLUDES the whole post.

  2. I don't think you should have any problem accessing posts on Patreon while we work out whatever the heck is going on with the blog.

I have just posted the first Baseball 100 piece, and I will soon post the other members-only pieces. Apologies for blowing up your email, but I think this is the best way to do it for now.

Thanks again for your patience on all this. I'm obviously still trying to figure things out; because of your generosity and faith, this blog has grown way faster than I or anyone else expected. Look for the next installment of the Harry Potter Diet and the first Shadowball 100 over the next couple of days. And thanks again for reading.
