The dog days, with apologies to Florence and, separately, to the Machine, are only just starting now, so let’s kick off our post-July 4th summer with some Brilliant Reader questions!

From Brilliant Reader Tony: Over his last 54 games, Aaron Judge has hit 26 homers and driven in 65 runs AND has hit .390 (numbers updated). He’s basically been Babe Ruth/Barry Bonds AND Ted Williams. Has anyone combined this kind of hitting acumen over this long a stretch before?
