The Classic Era Committee votes Dick Allen and Dave Parker into the Baseball Hall of Fame.

Breaking news: Dick Allen and Dave Parker are voted into the Baseball Hall of Fame by the Classic Baseball Era Committee.

There is SO much to say here, but let’s start by giving you the vote totals. This was a 16-person committee made up of:

1. Sandy Alderson, longtime baseball executive

2. Bob Elliott, Canadian sportswriter, 2012 winner of BBWAA Excellence Award
